Programs

We believe that each child's early years are ideal for learning. We do this by offering a structured curriculum designed to build a foundation of knowledge and critical thinking skills to foster mental, social, emotional and physical development. In order to achieve these goals, we feel that it is important that the child should do all learning through ACTIVE participation and it must be fun!!!

Toddlers   

We will provide a warm and welcoming enviroment where your toddler can grow from a "bundle of joy" to a "bundle of curiosity". We are focused on keeping your child happy, engaged and secure. We want to create experiences and opprotunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that is occuring in a child's first years.

2-Year Old Preschool Class    

Our two year old program is focused on providing a positive initial learning experience for each child in preparation for early success. Through games, art, songs, children's literature and activities, our 2 year old program helps each child grow and learn at their own pace. Our primary focus is on letters, numbers, shapes, colors and language skills. 

Transitional Classes 

Our program for the Transitional Class is focused on providing a positive initial learning experience for each child in preparation for early success. Through games, art, songs, children's literature and activities, the Traditional Class program helps each child grow and learn at their own pace. Our primary focus is on potty training along with developing the knowledge of letters, numbers, shapes, colors and language skills. 

3-4 Year Old Preschool Class   

The main goal of our 3-4 year old program is to ready each child for a successful transition into our Pre-K class. This program is an introduction to the learning process and a wonderful way to begin a life-long love of learning in developing self esteem, independence, along with social growth developed through daily interaction with peers, teachers and staff members. 

 

Academic Readiness:

-Recognize and Trace numbers 1-20

-Counting Skills of numbers 1-20

-Recognize Basic Colors

-Recognize the Basic Shapes

-Introduction to Letters and Beginning Sounds

-Recognize and Trace Name in Print

Fine Motor Skills:

-Variuos Daily Activities that require the use of Small Muscles in their Hands

-Learning to Hold Crayons Correctly

-Learning to Hold/Use Scissors Correctly

-Learning the Skills of Cutting, Glueing, Coloring and Tracing

Cross Motor Skills:

-Development of Good Body Control

-Development of Large Muscle Coordination

Pre-Kindergarten Class  

The key components for the preparation of kindergarten include:

-Phonetic reading Readiness

-Math Skills Readiness

-Develop Good Listening Skills

-Increasing Length of Attention Span

-Fine Motor skills Development

-Large Motor Skills Development

Visual Recognition:

-10 Colors (Red, blue, yellow, green, orange, black, brown, purple, pink, white)

-6 Shapes  (square, rectangle, triangle, circle, oval, diamond)

-Numbers 1-50

Writing:

-Learning to Write their First and Last Name

-Correct Letter Formation

-Emphasis on Short Vowels and Consonants

-Combining Letter and Sounds to Make Words

Math:

-Numbers 1-50

-Proper Number Formation

-Curriculum that balances, Skills, Conceptual Understanding and Problem Solving

-Becoming Proficient in Basic Computational Skills

-Understanding Basic Math Skills
